Welcome to the workshop, where handcraft, tradition and precise workmanship meet. I design every vehicle around its purpose, riding comfort and your vision — from frame layout to lacquer, down to the last trim nail.
Brief introduction
Master blacksmith and carriage maker Sándor Galambos has worked in Füzesgyarmat since the 1980s. The family knowledge passed from father to children and still shapes the workshop today. My core focus is designing, building and restoring carriages; I also deliver bespoke iron- and woodwork.
The workshop’s work is recognised across the Hungarian and European driving community; clients include private customers and institutions. I provide a written warranty for structural and finishing work, with clear terms and aftercare.
What does this look like in practice?
- First, you share the intended use (ceremonial, sport, training, tourism, etc.).
- I then design the appropriate frame, running gear, suspension and braking system.
- I choose upholstery, lacquer tones, ornamentation and accessories together with you.
- I craft the unique piece with ongoing consultation throughout the build.
